needs to be directed towards people’s emotions. Pathos is one of the most
effective and important tools when persuading an audience. If you can make them
feel pity or sadness towards your subject, then you have a chance to get your
point across. In the past many companies such as PETA has used vivid and
emotive imagery to depict acts of animal cruelty however the result hasn’t seemed
to be as rewarding as it could be. Instead I will try to direct people’s
emotions towards something we all specifically care about… our own race.
